Did you or a candidate from your unit miss Ordeal last fall? It’s not too late! Several OA chapters will be having a spring conclave. Here’s a link to more information: http://oa.nsbsa.org/ChapterConclaves.aspx.
Spring conclaves are being held May 10-12, May 17-19, and June 7-9.
Many ordeal candidates were called out at the Spring Camporee. Please spread the word that our chapter’s conclave will be held September 27-29, 2019 at Camp Ajawah. If candidates are not able to attend that weekend, please have them contact our Chapter’s leadership. We will help them find an alternate date.
OA Hackathon- From June 26-30th at the University of Illinois is the OA hackathon! Come to learn about new technologies and problem solving in the 21st century! This year, there are three tracks offered: the first needs no previous experience and is focused on learning; the second some previous experience and is half learning and half problem solving; and the third requires extensive experience and is entirely problem solving. There is a $295 fee, and you can register today at https://registration.oa-bsa.org/Event/1074. Save the date!
Section Conclave- September 6-8th. Come to meet with fellow Order members from across the section at Northern Tier in early September! This year is Voyageur themed, and a lot of fun activities and competitions are planned alongside staying in cabins! Watch our lodge web site or the section web site for details!
